A simple structure can make room for many different lives. Free Plan explores how one prefabricated concrete element can create a varied family of spaces.
By changing the placement and rotation of repeated units, the design investigates different relationships between floor, enclosure and opening. A consistent construction language becomes a framework for spatial variety, allowing form and use to develop together.
The study asks how restraint in the number of components can produce generosity in the spaces they create. For future commissions, it offers a starting point for a system with a clear material identity and room for individual interpretation.
