Tube Vent House

WORK IN PROGRESS: Investigating air vents systems as a house. In cities like Seoul, we find vents as performative accessories that are attached to already existing buildings. This allows ordinary modern buildings to transform into urban factories. While some of the vents are ad-hoc attachments, some are placed quite orderly creating ornamental elements to the facade. Aside from being performative and ornamental, this project investigate the transition of these vents into productive architectural elements that could also be structural to form the space.
