Pause beside flowering plants and notice the life around you. Wild Futures brings people and pollinators into an inhabitable timber structure, making a closer relationship with nature part of everyday life.
The fabricated research prototype combines planting and nesting habitat with a place for human occupation. Developed through collaboration across design, ecology, structural engineering and fabrication, it explores how a small addition can give a shared landscape a richer purpose.
Presented in public and cultural settings and featured in Designboom and Inflection, the work invites site-specific conversations for hospitality, campuses and civic spaces. Its ecological role continues to inform the research and development of the system.
