Wake with the morning light. Circadian Canopy imagines a home whose atmosphere changes with the sun, giving each part of the day a different place to unfold.
A laminated timber structure supports a canopy of parasol-like modules conceived to filter and redistribute daylight. Morning light is directed towards the bedroom, while living spaces and a central courtyard offer changing relationships with direct sun, shade and reflected light.
The design study explores how daily routines can be shaped by a more attentive relationship with daylight. Its ambition is a home where light contributes to comfort, orientation and wellbeing, with environmental performance to be developed through further analysis.
